Applications

1. Detergency & Bleaching:

2. Pharmaceuticals & Disinfection:
   • Precursor for medical disinfectants (e.g., wound cleansers);
   • Oxygenator and disinfectant in aquaculture.
3. Environmental & Industrial Use:
   • Degrades organic matter in wastewater treatment to reduce COD (chemical oxygen demand);
   • Metal surface treatment (e.g., degreasing and rust removal before electroplating).
4. Other Fields:
   • Food industry as flour improver and oxidant (must meet food additive standards);
   • Agricultural soil amendment and seed treatment.

Safety and Storage

• Hazards:
  • Releases oxygen when contacting acids, potentially causing combustion;
